Shamal combines the ease of care of man made fibers with the softness and durability of Wool. This blend of 80% Acrylic and 20% Wool is available in 29 colors, all of which are available in 3 Ply, 4 Ply, and D.K. weights. This is a favorite of machine knitters everywhere.

Note: Shamal is available in Hollyberry in all weights (this color is not shown on the color card).

Wound on 400g cones of approx. 3460 yards. Excellent choice for double bed Jacquard. The resulting fabric is light weight and very soft. Resistant to pilling.

4 Ply

Wound on 400g cones of approx. 2220 yards. Perfect choice for single bed knitting.

Wound on 500g cones of approx. 1850 yards. Best used on mid-gauge machines or with the Garter Carriage. Knit with the Garter Carriage, it produces a fabric with great definition and depth.
